Excellent site with spotless facilities, and mostly flat pitches
 Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Peaceful site , good dog walking and a field where you can let them off the lead.
Disliked The rubbish bins where quite far away , but that's only a small issue , maybe one bin in the touring field might have been more useful.

From the manager: Hi Jacqui,
Thank you for your feedback and we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us.
We currently do not have any rubbish bins in the touring field as the bins become extremely heavy when full and so we would be unable to drag the bin back to the carpark area. The Bin lorry is also unable to fit down the lane to the camp field.
Lovely tranquil place to stay.

Liked Lovely quiet place to stay.
Bus stop right outside the site to York.
Lovely clean toilet block.
Great dog park.
My wife ended up in hospital for 6 days during our stay (she is all good now) and Tony and Ebony could not have been anymore thoughtful and helpful.

Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Stayed on the weekend of storm Amy so there was only one other tent in the tent field. Nice tent field, pretty level, easy to knock pegs in. Toilet block was immaculate, with two shower cubicles, lovely warm showers too. There was a second toilet block further from the tent field, but didn't use it.
The owner kindly stayed on after the stated 5pm latest check in, to wait for us to arrive. Site had a little shop selling basic food stuff.
Owner also popped round to the tent in the pouring rain to let us know we didn't need to be away by the stated 10am time on Sunday, which was very kind.
Easy to drive into Malton or York, both of which are worth visiting.

Excellent and value for money.
 Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked The field gives give plenty of space per pitch. Which also means that caravans or camper-vans/motorhomes are not too close together. Ground was level and ground was good. There are two water points spaced adequately so you don’t have too far to go. The toilet/ shower facilities are very very clean. Water was hot enough, previous reviews had complained about this. The dog field is plenty big enough to exercise your dog off lead. Good value for money considering electric is included and no extra charge for awnings.
Disliked There was nothing to dislike about this site.

Liked A very clean site , always made welcome, have been a number of times and always enjoyed it. Well placed for York visits. A few nice pubs to visit for meals. Close to park and ride into York. Very helpful staff.
Disliked When we booked our stay pitch up led us to believe there were only 8 pitches left to book, there were only 7 pitches occupied including our selves and their were only 3 left on the second day, no one else came after that, very quiet stay, it of course suited us.
