From the manager: Thank you so much for taking time to leave a review. There are some great walks from the park and we have free printouts of some of them in reception. Our shop is mainly for ice creams and pop in the Summer. We had a fully stocked shop last year but the majority ended up going past their sell by dates and had to be discarded. Most guests bring all their own supplies or go to the nearby supermarkets.

Liked Had a wonderful stay. Very clean and peaceful. We would definitely go back. Beautiful countryside all around. Enjoyed the area and the local hospitality. The staff at the park were friendly and helpful. All the amenities were there too.

Liked Lovely lady who welcomed us. Nice shower block. Tidy site.
Disliked Quite tight roadways onsite. No separate recycling. Pitches a bit uneven but not a real problem.

Disliked Inadequate toilets & showers for number of pitches (3 of each in mens)
Water temperature lukewarm in showers
Push button showers which last for about 10 seconds
Dilapidated toilet & shower block - black mould and uneven floors leading to puddles of water
Dogs wandering about off leads
Some pitches quite narrow
Nearby pub never seemed open

Liked Lovely site with large pitches & washroom/toilet facilities excellent. Can walk to several nice villages (2.5 to 3.5 miles) where there are pubs etc for lunches. Also a pub within 10/15 mins walk.
Disliked Nothing really, altho some road noise on some pitches against the hedge (didn’t bother us tho).

Liked We were on pitch set in the paddock section of the site, lovely spot. Love that's it's adult only. Nice peaceful site. Good facilities, probably ready for an upgrade, but never the less very good. Love the fact that they have hedges between each site for a sense of privacy. Second occasion that we have visited, will definitely go again.
