General

  • Site with a lake and woods in 160 acres of West Midlands countryside
  • A 10-minute drive from Birmingham’s NEC and 15 minutes from Coventry
  • Bar, restaurant and grill; fishing, pedalo boating and miniature golf

Head to Heart of England Events Centre for hols by a lake – with fishing and other activities to get stuck into – on 160 acres of land in a stunning part of Warwickshire. The site has a rural feel yet is just 10 minutes’ drive from Birmingham’s NEC (National Exhibition Centre) and 15 minutes from the West Midlands city’s international airport.

A bar and grill restaurant is open daily from noon for eats and drinks on site – serving everything from afternoon teas to steak dishes, as well as Sunday roasts referred to by the owners as ‘legendary’ – and organises plenty of activities. Look forward to family-friendly pursuits like pirate ship rides, pedalo boating and games of nine-hole miniature golf (extra charges apply).

You could also wander through woodland at this Warwickshire park or venture out into the surrounding area – the site is 15 minutes from Coventry and the National Motorcycle Museum, and 45 minutes from Cadbury World’s chocolate-themed tours.

Birmingham city centre takes 25 minutes to reach.

had the entire field to ourselves, the grounds are beautiful especially for dog walking.

    Disliked:

My only criticism would be the toilet/shower block, I had to clean the pot washing area before use as it was disgusting, I don't believe it had been cleaned in months.

We were pretty much self sufficient so the above didn't both us too much and we will return.

Plenty of space between pitches, plenty to do on site and in the surrounding area. Lady on reception was helpful.

    Disliked:

The toilet and water facilities need more cleaning. Was disappointing given the situation we are in at present.

Excellent site, friendly and helpful staff, lovely camping field.09/02/2020

The service from the staff was amazing, all very friendly and helpful. We didn't stay much on site as we had lots of family visiting to do but we had a drink in the restaurant on the last evening of the weekend which was lovely. We had a walk around to view the camp site, everything was clean and the site itself is in a lovely area. The field was clean and spacious and we had no problems with anyone else who was camping.

    Disliked:

The only thing I disliked was the shower/toilets. They were usable for the weekend we stayed but I think a newly updated shower/toilet block would have been perfect. One shower in a very small space would have been difficult during a very busy period or a longer stay. This isn't a complaint as such but I think it would just make the whole experience just that little bit better!
