  • Adults-only site with a lake and woodland views
  • Golf course and country park within five minutes' drive
  • A 10-minute walk from the local pub and microbrewery
There's not much finer than a leisurely woodland wander (with a dog in tow if you’ve got one that needs a holiday), a fresh pint in the local and a peaceful night’s slumber to cap it all off… If that’s the kind of break you’ve got planted in your mind, you may like to consider bedding down at Delamere Farm Glamping, a family-run adults-only site five minutes’ drive from Atherstone. This rural spot backs onto Warwickshire woodland, and there are plenty more places to stretch your legs locally, including the fab Hartshill Hayes Country Park, a couple of miles away. Prefer to flex your golfing muscles? There’s an 18-hole course five minutes’ drive away, too. For an evening pint at the end of it all, a 10-minute amble will get you over to the village pub, or to the local microbrewery, where you can sample the house brews, chomp on local cheese and join in with social events (quiz nights, comedy nights and the like). If you’re not in the mood for such antics, there’s also a convenience store in the same location where you can stock up on supplies for a barbie back on site. And what a spot for a barbie this is – the grounds look out over the lake, making a very peaceful backdrop indeed. There's fishing (including kit hire) here too, and you can sign up to farm activities including bottle-feeding the cute baby goats.
