What customers say
This peaceful, roomy campsite is in lovely woods, with direct access to lots of trails for walking and biking. Campers enjoy the "wild" feel, picking their own spots, and the natural setting. Facilities are simple but fine for most, and staff are friendly and helpful. Usually quiet, though some noted distant road or camper noise. Great for a quiet, nature escape.

Primitive cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked The first 5 minutes of arrival , lots of space and peace and quiet.
Disliked #1 The price ! £22 to stay in an open public park with no facilities or privacy.
#2 Being woken up to a football being kicked against my van.
#3 The amount of cyclists and members of the public congregating next to my van.
#4 No privacy whatsoever as campers are allowed to pitch wherever.

Highly recommend
Primitive cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked I stayed here for one night as a stopover on way down to Devon and really enjoyed it. Beautiful surroundings, feeling of safety despite only 2 other vans on site. Huge, beautiful open space with trails all around, good basic facilities and very accessible to the motorway to continue my journey.

Primitive cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Such a lovely campsite, the setting was beautiful. Great to be able to walk from the campsite straight into the park.
Disliked It was just such a shame that there were no showers or toilets. If there was, we would have stayed longer.
