Quiet, clean site with generous pitches and great views of The Roaches. Friendly hosts, spotless facilities. Horses and sheep are a bonus! Good value, though hot water is sometimes missing. Great for walks, pub nearby.

Primitive grass campervan campsite

Liked Lovely location, well maintained with perfectly adequate facilities. Owners are friendly and helpful. Stayed 3 nights and would stay again. Large pitches with a sensible layout over the site. Got a reasonable signal with EE. Short drive to The Roaches and Lud's Church.

Disliked Nothing.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked Amazing site. Owner was lovely and greeted us on arrival. The facilities were always very clean and the pitches were of a good size.
Will certainly be returning again.

Disliked The road can be a little loud (especially motorbikes). So if you are a light sleeper maybe take some ear plugs. However this didn't keep me or my child awake.

Liked Lovely little campsite, second time in the past month solo parent with my 12 month old, greeted on arrival both times and agreed a pitch. Very basic but quiet. Clean loos. Horses were the highlight, super friendly!! Great pub a couple of minutes away.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked Lovely quiet small site, firepits allowed, clean toilets, views of the roaches and surrounding hills. Huge pitches , numbered well, very happy with plot 8 and horses and sheep right in front of us. Thankyou to the owners for letting us book another night. Oh and good phone signal for the teen. Farm shop up the road, easily walkable and about an hour walk to the roaches

Disliked Nothing to dislike , maybe slight road noise may bother some

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked We just camped for one night in our roof tent and it was lovely. The owner opened up the gate for us and let us know where to go and where the toilet facilities were. We were the only ones in the campsite that evening which was nice. Very chilled with the horses running around. Great views and incredibly clean toilets, with access to cold water.

Disliked A light sleeper may be affected by the road noise, as larger noisier vehicles woke me up a couple of times. We know this is completely out of the control of the owner though.
