What customers say
Great site for spacious pitches, amazing countryside views, and a peaceful vibe. Private facilities, including composting toilets/showers, plus a shared wash-up area & fridge-freezer in the Tack Room are appreciated. Friendly hosts, fun for families, and close to attractions. Almost perfect!

A Fabulous find!
Express primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite (no cars)
Liked This site is fabulous.
There's so much space and the views are great.
I was camping with my son in law and grandson, we stayed one night on one of the express pitches so shared facilities with a couple of others but that was not a problem.
We had a gazebo, picnic table and fire pit which was great.
The Tack Room offers somewhere indoors to sit in case of bad weather although that wasn't the case for our stay. There are freezers for keeping your food in and supplies for sale.
There really isn't anything not to like about this gem of a site.

Fabulous break away
Express primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite (no cars)
Liked The shower, washing up facilities and toilet per pitch.
The fridge and freezer facilities were a great addition as to was the firepit and firewood. The shop had delicious local produce.
The walkways cut to the river path are just stunning and I wish I could have stayed longer but had appointments to return home for.
Disliked I didn't dislike anything but I would suggest a hand basin next to the toilet area would be good for hand/teethbrushing.

Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite (riverside)
Liked From the moment we arrived at the farm, we were made to feel incredibly welcome by Tim, the owner, who personally showed us to our pitch.
The pitches themselves were wonderfully spacious, with acres of room between them, giving everyone a real sense of peace and privacy. The individual cabins on each pitch, complete with a composting toilet, shower and washing facilities, felt like a genuine luxury and had everything we needed. There was always plenty of hot water for showers and washing up, and thoughtful touches such as dish soap and a food-waste caddy made our stay even more comfortable.
The children absolutely loved exploring the winding paths and tracks around the site and were especially fascinated by the tree that has been transformed into a bridge – a feature they talked about mutliple times since we got home.

Liked Lovely camp site with great facilities and privacy. The Smokey cow pub was a short walk and provided great food. My son and his best friend (both 8) loved it as a first camping experience!
