What customers say
Guests love the quiet, country vibe, roomy, tidy sites, and welcoming owners. Though washrooms are a bit old-fashioned, they're always spotless. Some folks heard noise and had to pay for showers. Great value and a perfect spot for exploring.

Nice picturesque site and lovely owners.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Nice pitches, good size. We were very late arriving due to motorhome troubles and traffic delays, however, the owners were very accommodating and understanding.
Disliked Had a group of Eastern Europeans staying a couple of pitches down from us that were very noisy into the early hours, loud music and noisy children. Looked like 2 geiuos together. No respect for other people on the campsite.
Also didn't like that you had to pay for the showers, I think that should come in with the booking price. So we couldn't shower as had no cash on us.

Not really thoughtful for tourers or motorhomes.
FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite

Disliked Toilet and shower block not fit for purpose.
Loud drunk people shouting after midnight.
Cars speeding past pitches at all times of the day.

Liked Peaceful site with nice size pitch.
Toilet block dated but very clean. Didn’t use shower facilities so can’t comment.
We didn’t realise until a couple of days in but to the side of toilet block, there is washing up facility and a fridge to use

Lovely site and welcoming reception staff.
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Very well maintained site and was the quietest we had stayed at during our road trip, as it was not located near a busy road. The loos/showers were dated but very clean and additionally there was adequate time available in the shower using a token, rather than some other showers that required folk to push a button every few seconds to keep it going. We were allowed to use our pop up tent rather than the awning, which saved time and was easier for us.
Disliked No washing machine/dryer.

Over all great place to go
Primitive grass campsite
Liked The pitch was great, nice and level with plenty of space.
The staff were very polite and helpful (even at 9 o’clock at night when we needed some drinking water)
The shower and toilet facilities were clean and well maintained

Liked Nice and very friendly Park, I like having a security barrier as it adds that little extra peace in mind when going out and about etc
Disliked No communal bins placed around the park, for a park of this size should have several areas not just one area by barrier.
No dog bins either
