What customers say
This spacious, friendly, and well-located site offers a relaxed atmosphere & easy walk to Shrewsbury. Guests loved the helpful staff, good-sized pitches, and on-site amenities. Older washrooms need an update, but newer showers are great. Excellent value & close to attractions.

A very nice stay in pleasant surroundings.
Powered grass campsite
Liked An overall good site just a 15 minute walk away from the lovely town of Shrewsbury. The site is huge, with a good selection of grass and gravel pitches, and ehu. We found the site owner/manager/warden friendly and accommodating. We originally booked a grass pitch, but on arrival were asked if we wanted to go on a gravel pitch at no extra cost, as they weren't overly busy.
We pitched up near to what looks like a relatively new mobile shower block, which contains 4 cubicles with a good powerful shower, sink and toilet. There was also 2 separate toilet blocks near by.
The site has wifi, which we didn't use, as we have a mobile router containing a '3' sim card, which worked well and streamed from our firestick with no problems.
Disliked The toilet blocks were a little dated, but I've seen a lot worse.

May consider staying again
Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Location good to visit Shrewsbury, able to get on to the site early. Pitch had electric and water.
Disliked Toilets not very clean on arrival, and not cleaned at all during our stay. No toilet brushes provided. Showers were better but only 4 for this size of site which had lots of people staying. Again no floor mops/squeeze to wipe out after use resulted in wet floor to stand.on and change.maybe a shelter outside to stand under when queuing got very wet in the rain

Powered grass campsite
Liked Very informal, quiet, easy access to water and electricity. Some big trees that provided shade almost all day, helpful during a heatwave.
Disliked Not enough showers when it gets busy. The showers themselves are wonderful, temperature adjustable from hot to ice cold, great during hot weather.
