Fantastic campsite, highly recommend for walks and nature.
Primitive grass campervan campsite
Liked Amazing campsite, stunning location with lots of walks and places to visit. Owner has a map that gives loads of walking opportunities to do from the site. Very friendly and would highly recommend.
Disliked Not really much to dislike, only thing I could think of is there was only one wash up sink but it wasn't an issue as you just have to wait in an area with lovely views ha ha.

Fabulous
Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Everything.the hosts were amazing, the site was clean and well organised with good size pitches.
There are lovely walks locally and amazing views.
Being a bank holiday weekend the facilities were a little busy, but they were regularly stocked and cleaned. Dave was brilliant, especially persuading my husband that we would love a firepit, he was right, we did 😀
We were on a non electric pitch with our moter home and it was perfect. Thank you

Lovely Campsite! Friendly Owners.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked We stayed in Colemere Caravan Park for two nights during a late May heatwave. The owners are super friendly and greeted us on arrival with a map of the area - showing direct walks from the site onto the stunning lake and further afield onto the canal to nearby Ellesmere (around 45-50 mins). There were also local recommendations for sightseeing and pubs etc.
The site was spacious and well maintained. Pitches are large and we didn't feel like we were too close to other campers.
Showers and toilet facilities were constantly cleaned and there was always a ready supply of toilet roll, hand-wash and hand towels. The womens facilities had a dress up area with a hairdryer and plug for straighteners etc. There were also a few toiletries in case you forget any essentials.
The clubhouse is well equipped with microwave, fridge freezer and kettle. There's an outdoor sink for washing up and also an indoor sink if that was in use. Wifi is also available in the clubhouse.
Firepits with wood, firelighters and kindling were provided at an extra cost and delivered directly to the pitch. Would recommend taking your own firelighters.
Last but my no means least this is an adult only site so ideal for a quieter stay. Great campsite that we will definitely visit again.
Disliked Unfortunately the hot water in the showers was cold one morning. I believe this was due to an issue with the boiler. This also impacted washing dishes - I did use the kettle provided in the clubhouse however this did take some time to boil.

From the manager: Thank-you booking with us and for taking time to write this review !
The hot water was resolved quite quickly . We use energy saving devices in the club house and with kettles take a while to boil.
Kind regards
