What customers say
Cuckoo Farm: well-kept, family-run site with friendly staff, lovely rural setting, and spotless facilities (showers a highlight). Guests loved the peaceful vibe, roomy pitches, farm shop, and stream access. Some found the railway noisy or pitches sloped, but most raved about cleanliness and family fun, planning to return. Highly recommended!

Clean, friendly and good place
Powered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Well laid out site with working farm and great amenities block with farm shop. Super friendly team and WiFi.
Disliked Water access for Campers is spaced out so you have to move between your pitch and the water point. Access road is poor quality - slow drive and it works in the dry.

As I said above have been twice now and will be back again soon.
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Plenty of space for us. The toilet block was immaculate. Check in very easy (we have been before).
Other children about for our grandson to play with. Quiet in the evening. Nice pubs close by.
Planning to go back in a few weeks time.
Only downside was a very bumpy road leading into the site. There was a sign about roadworks in late April so perhaps addressing that then.
Disliked Only the road leading in.

Lovely campsite, dog friendly, with excellent facilities
Powered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely campsite. Karen & Andy were super friendly and helpful. We loved the facilities - decent showers, and nice treat to have an indoor washing up area. Also loved the onsite shop, with lots of stuff from the farm. Hardly noticed the trainline at all - and i am very sensitive to noise! It was so lovely and quiet at night too. Slept really well. Good value for money. Also loved our neighbours (The sheep:)!)
Disliked The narrow lane and pot holes to get into the campsite, but this is common in rural areas - would just not want to arrive when it's dark, but that's a personal thing.

Excellent clean and well facilitated family site
Powered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Spacious pitches, well stocked site shop, clean and roomy showers. Nice to see the deer in the neighbouring field. We walked to The Rutland Vineyard from the site, which only took about 15 minutes and was well worth a visit. Also walked to the beautiful village of Ketton and had a lovely visit to the fabulous Railway Inn. It was the Easter holidays when we visited and we don’t have young children anymore, so possibly we would avoid a family site at peak holiday times in future - only because our idea of peace now is different to years ago! You will need your levellers as the site is sloped.
Disliked Storm Dave that arrived the night we pitched up! But our new awning survived it so it was a good test.

Liked Really nice owners who were extremely welcoming! There was a real friendly ‘buzz’ around the site but it was lovely and quiet through the night. Facilities were clean and I felt really safe as a woman camping alone. Highly recommend!
