What an excellent Oxfordshire site this is for anglers. And walkers. And quiet English countryside appreciators. For friendly and well-maintained Glebe Leisure Park is in a cracking countryside location on the edges of Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire as well as Oxfordshire and has two fishing lakes on site as well as lots of trails all around. Dogs – and their owners – like this place too, as there are long walks and gravelled pathways with dog waste bins set at handy locations, and it's mighty like too that cyclists will like the gentle and short pedal along to local town Bicester... Any amenities you might need are sorted here, such as a loo and shower block with info room about the surrounding area, a toilet and shower facilities for disabled guests, a chemical disposal point, drinking water outlets and a car park.

Liked Fab campsite, nice clean toilets, everything was really simple. We stayed here as we were going to Silverstone and is around 30 minutes away.

Liked A very well kept site, it was quiet when I visited but I could tell the site was maintained and cared for, a lovely atmosphere, there are two walks that are short but have been carved out for visitors, the lake has some really cute elements to it, the bird statue, bridge and clock sun seat, and the woodland walk is beautiful.. I felt tranquil there and very safe. There weee also plenty of uncut areas for wildlife, pretty site with shepherd huts and pods also fitted about.

Disliked Just one thing: There are two showers in the female block, I didn’t like how the other persons shower water drained into my tray!

Disliked Very dirty site, weeds everywhere when mentioned was told "weeds grow fast" 4 foot nettles don't grow that fast , drunken singing and loud music till the small hours not a well run site

Liked Good communication with site, advising of best pitches due to a pre booked party arriving. Good signage to site. Pitches level, services on pitch, facilities clean, good dog walking areas and good fishing lake. Good pub, Butchers Arms, in village

Primitive grass campsite

Liked The location, very nice reception!
We mainly came for the fishing so we were very pleasantly surprised by such well stocked lakes and the ease of fishing here.
It was a small campsite and we felt at home immediately.
The pitch was also very big so plenty of space (didn’t bring a car).
Toilets and showers very clean.

Disliked Late night noise from other campers but that isn’t campsite’s fault.

Local attractions

Plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs and cafés are in Glebe Leisure's local town of Bicester within a couple of miles, and designer clothes and accessories in the outlet shopping centre Bicester Village. Glebe is the closest site to Bicester Heritage, the first park in the UK for the tender loving restoration care of classic and vintage cars, motorbikes and planes, all on over 345 acres of an old RAF bomber station. The centre's been described as 'a historic motoring fan's idea of heaven' so do speed along there if old engines make your motor hum. Twelve miles from the site is simply smashing Blenheim Palace, given to the first Duke of Marlborough by Charlie 2 and handed down through the Churchill family to reach one Winston some decades back. You really should have a trip... Also within 12 miles are another few British institutions: the dizzying array of arty treasures at the National Trust's Waddesdon Manor; Broughton Castle at Banbury, and days out spectating fast types at Silverstone Circuit.
