Bainside House

Liked Nice quiet site and Paul was very helpful(lent me an hosepipe as mine was just too short)along with his good lady. Toilet clean and tidy, shower was nice and hot!. Small shop on site which offered milk and ice creams, plus other things. Nice pub on the doorstep.

Disliked Not much could make it better.
The layout is quirky, pitches close to each other.

Liked Just back from a weekend at Bainside House to finish our mini tour. The site is very well situated with pitch options and the facilities were very clean. There is an honesty shop which is handy including very yummy eggs.
The pub next door is well worth a visit for lunch or dinner, advisable to book especially on the weekend.
There are plenty of local walks and Woodhall Spa is a very quaint village with plenty of fab coffee shops and amenities.
This site is perfect for any occasion, very good value and the hosts Fiona and Paul are very friendly ⭐️ ☺️

Liked Fiona and Paul were great hosts, nice facilities clean and welcoming, little honesty shop which wad great, lovrly and guiet, chickens roaming free fresh eggs, and a bonus a pub right next door. Would deffinatley reccomend this site, er will be back

Liked The staff were friendly and the campsite was kept to a high standard of cleanliness. The little shop was well stocked, the pitch was level with lots of room between each other.
Nice walks around the area and is set very close to the village pub which sold great food and is dog friendly. (In the bar)

Disliked Nothing at all but I didn’t give it 10/10 because wife always tells me nothing is perfect. And who am I to argue

Liked Exceptionally friendly owners. Large well kept pitches and grounds. Nice walks along the river bank and fishing lake. Close to Woodhall Spa, Louth and even Lincoln.

Liked Lovely small site, nice sized pitch

Disliked Dirty/black mop in bathroom. No lights in toilets during day, only a small window to allow light in, not ideal if wanting to shave.

We’re aware of the lighting in the shower block and are already planning to have all the lights sensor-operated next season. We do also have a shower block with a pull switch, which may have been more convenient during the day.

As for the mop, it’s used to clean muddy footprints and mop up excess water to help prevent slips. Despite regular bleaching and changing the mop heads, unfortunately keeping them perfectly white is a challenge!

Liked Such a lovely campsite, toilets and showers were always clean, owners were so nice to talk to. We will definitely be back, it was so peaceful
