Bainside House

Liked It was peaceful site with a friendly team. There were enough facilities for the size that were cleaned and checked daily. A good pub next door with a good menu. Lots of people fishing. Really good value for money with no hidden extras.
The location was excellent, so much to see and do within 10 miles. We loved Woodhall Spa.

Disliked We felt the facilities were in need of a thorough clean.
We liked that the pitches aren't in rows but this did mean some were a bit close.
Due to Anglian water having the road closed we had to do quite lengthy diversions. Anyone going in the next few weeks be aware.

We were however a little surprised by your comments regarding the cleanliness of the facilities, as you also mention in your review that they were cleaned and checked daily. Our facilities are cleaned and checked regularly although we’re sorry if you felt they required a more thorough clean during your stay.

We would also like to clarify the comment regarding the road closure and diversion. The road works did not cause you to be diverted. As we understand it you missed the turning for the campsite and subsequently had to turn the caravan around at the road works. We appreciate that manoeuvring a caravan can be difficult, but unfortunately this was not due the road further up being tarmacked.

Liked Great little site, owners very friendly and helpful
Toilets and showers always clean
Perfect little shop on site for essentials and more - nice touch is the honesty box
Free WiFi - phone reception was very good
Location although outside of Woodhall spa is perfect with excellent pub just down the road
Lots of dog walking from site
Overall we were very pleased and extended our stay - definitely recommended

Liked Great little site with really friendly owners Paul and Fiona. It's easy to find and drive into. It has and beautiful fishing lake and a pub next door that's does good food.
