What customers say
A well-kept, tranquil site with ample level spots. Facilities are spotlessly clean. Close to Wainfleet village, transport to Skegness, and Bateman's Brewery. Great value, "pitch anywhere" is a hit. Showers can get busy at peak times; more would be welcome. WiFi is generally good.

Liked Quiet, friendly, inexpensive. The location and set up gave us exactly what we needed on the nights over new year. Would stay again. Be local pubs all very friendly too. It was actually a bit of a surprise just how friendly people were in this part of the country. :)

Liked Facilities & closeness to Wainfleet St Mary village, where there is a Coop, 2 pubs & Batemans Brewery. Train & bus services too. Think it would be useful to have more shower & toilet facilities on site when the camping fields are busy. Chris and his wife are brilliant hosts and were there to answer any questions.

Good facilities, friendly welcome
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Good basic facilities, reflected in the price, walking distance to town for co-op, pubs, take out restaurants. Pubs not the best but friendly enough. Take away (Chinese was okay but kebab and pizza wasn’t brilliant) was edible after a couple of pints. Walking distance to train station, only £5 return to Skegness, we went into Skegness and won’t be returning. Probably okay if you have kids and it’s warm weather. Friendly welcome by staff. We did get woken by workers picking veg in the nearby field shouting early in the morning but nothing the site could control.
Disliked No good walks from the site. My husband tried to walk our dog both mornings and just kept coming to dead ends and most of the roads have no paths.

Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Nice site lovely clean showers and toilets - located 10 minutes from train station/pubs/chinese/kebab/fish and chip shop and supermarket - train to Skegness is a ten minute trip and takes you to the top of the town, there is also a bus stop at the top of the road. Will definitely be visiting again

Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Easy access to site. Hard standing pitches had plenty of space around them. Electric point right next to it (dont need 25m cable as stated in site info). Wash rooms and wash up facilities good (although not many of them so would imagine very busy when site is full). Short walk into Wainfleet. Batemans brewery worth a visit and good food at the woolpack. Station with trains to Skegness

From the manager: Hello Gillian M.
Thanks for the review, and thanks for highlighting the incorrect details for cables. A 15 metre cable will suffice.
