What customers say
Lee Valley Almost Wild Camping: a tranquil, nature-focused getaway near London. Praised for quiet, secluded sites, its location, friendly staff, and easy booking. While mostly peaceful, one guest noted noise after staff departed; management is addressing this.

I recently stayed at Lee Valley…
Primitive grass tent campsite (riverside)
Liked I recently stayed at Lee Valley Almost Wild Camping and absolutely loved the experience. It’s a fantastic place to truly relax and disconnect – quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. What makes it even more special is how close it is to London, yet once you’re there it feels like you’re a world away. Perfect spot if you’re looking for a simple, back-to-nature break without having to travel far. I’ll definitely be coming back!
