What customers say
Campers love the friendly owners, great scenery, and spotless facilities. Families enjoy spacious sites, the playground, and rope swing. Most find it peaceful, though some mention traffic noise (bring earplugs!). Toilets are clean but dated. No shop, but great for exploring!

Lovely campsite great location

Liked Beautiful peaceful site owners are helpful and really accommodating. We will definitely return. Close to pubs and town of Ross on wye great forest walks. Reasonably priced to pitch your tent here too and very quiet after 10pm
Disliked Nothing really. I can see from other reviews about the road noise. This didn’t bother us but I can maybe see why it bothered others. However there are pitches well away from the tree line which backs onto the road where I assume it will totally cancel out the noise.
WiFi isn’t great if you want to use your internet but you can get signal to make phones calls etc. not a major issue at all.

Liked Friendly and helpful hosts and a nice spot with good sized pitches. Bit of road noise as situated close to the A40 and A465, but didn’t detract from our stay and will likely be back to explore the area more in the future.
Had a nice walk along the river to Ye Old Ferrie Inn which serves tasty and decently priced food.

Lovely little campsite, easy to get to, bonus of a brook to paddle in
Powered grass campsite
Liked Owners were very welcoming
Pitches are a good size and around the edge of the field so there was space in the middle for the children to run around. The pitches were marked with big rocks which made it easy to decided where to put the tent.
My little one loved having access to the brook and was great for a paddle to cool down after a day out
Washing up area had fridges and a freezer to use which came in handy for refreezing ice blocks.
Disliked We were warned that our electric pitch was on the side of the field next to the road so it would be a little noisy. The road was busy during the night so needed to wear earplugs. Was a minor inconvenience and wouldn’t stop me from returning
