What customers say
This peaceful, remote escape boasts beautiful countryside views. Guests love the comfy, clean digs, thoughtful welcome baskets (especially the lemon cake!), and relaxing hot tub. Friendly staff respect your privacy. Some saw dog walkers/horse riders. Minor notes: no dustpan/brush, occasional flies. Overwhelmingly positive, with many wanting to return.

2 bedroom shepherd's hut (hot tub)
Liked A beautiful shepherds hut. We were two adults and two teenagers and it was a perfect size. It was comfortable and we loved everything chicken! We are going to buy our own hen crockery after this trip! Jacuzzi was lovely and the views were beautiful. The owners left a wonderful basket of goodies including a delicious, homemade lemon cake. There were games to play too and we tried the Logo game! It was very peaceful and just what we needed. We would come again!

Would definitely recommend Hen house.
2 bedroom shepherd's hut (hot tub)
Liked This place is incredible. If you are looking to get away from stressful, fast paced life then this is the place for you.
Me and my husband couldn't think of one thing that would improve the stay. Hen house is fully equipped for your stay. There was also a welcome basket with the nicest homemade lemon cake!
The outside space was great, with plenty of seating, on and off the decked area. The stand out for us was the beautiful views.
Out of all the cottage, caravan and cabin type get aways we had had, this was by far our favourite. I would go as far to say it is perfect.

Quiet, rural, lovely view... just right for me. Well equipped too.
2 bedroom shepherd's hut (hot tub)
Liked Remote, rural, location. Style and size of cabin. The decor inside and outside. The view. The well-equipped kitchen in utensils and oven, hob and microwave. The hot tub ready and waiting. The ability to join the footpath on the doorstep and go for a quick walk. The milk in the fridge was a nice touch.
Disliked The possibility for others to use that footpath that passes right in front of the door, but I only saw that once about 9:30 pm.

Peace and tranquility.
2 bedroom shepherd's hut (hot tub)
Liked Wow, just wow! Secluded, uninterrupted views, really well stocked, lovely hamper on arrival, great it had a second bedroom, easy access, utter peace and quiet, hot tub fabulous.
Disliked Nothing but we did go on the red hot weekend and some kind of awning to be able to pull down for some shade outside would have been great but would not stop us going back.

I would of returned but unfortunately not having someone on site
2 bedroom shepherd's hut (hot tub)
Liked The Hideaway had everything we needed. It was cosy and clean. Enjoyed the hot tub and had a beautiful view. Very peaceful.
Disliked We noticed the gas wasn’t working very well. I checked the boiler & it displayed a fault. I texted the owner only to hear they were abroad. I don’t think you can go away and leave a business when you have customers staying on your premises. A family member changed the gas cylinder the next day!
