What customers say
Owners are super friendly & helpful, pitches are spacious, and it’s peaceful. Calf cuddling’s a hit with kids! It’s basic but charming. Portaloos can get overwhelmed when busy, and rubbish disposal is tricky. Showers would be a bonus.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite (adults only)
Liked Very friendly hosts. Generous pitch by the river, very peaceful. Loved the back to basics feel of the site. We have our own amenities so no problem for us. Surrounded by beautiful walks. Highly recommend the lakeside cafe for breakfast

Liked I loved the peace and quiet of this site. A family and an adult section. We were in the family section and still very peaceful. The owner comes around everynight with logs and fire pits if needed. Very friendly and will definitely be returning.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite (adults only)
Liked Quiet site, great hosts! Went solo with my dog, plenty of walks around from the site & met a lot of friendly neighbours who gave recommendations for walks & places to go, as did the site owners.
I had a visit from the owner, offering a fire pit and logs & just to make sure everything was okay.
Would definitely come back!
