Liked Stayed several times. Great facilities and amazing views. Love it, returning again next month.
Great value for money. Simple, friendly and relaxing camp site.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite (adults only)
Liked No frills but everything we needed. Just what we wanted to try out my son’s new 3 man tent before he goes off on his own adventures.
Clean toilets and hot showers. 20p for 2 mins ago. Washing up facilities. Small Farm shop offered all those extra bits if you needed, which was a welcome surprise. Could even buy extra pegs as got a bit windy.
Could order bacon roll, fresh hot buttered tea cake or croissant for breakfast or pizza for eve. Very tasty too!
Freezer to rotate your ice blocks. Tea coffee vending machine if you needed it too.
Staff helpful and friendly.
Altogether a lovely get away from it all mini break. Thank you. Had a lovely experience.
Disliked Nothing.

Great straight forward campsite £12 a night.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite (adults only)
Liked Strait forward campsite, exactly what it said on the tin, clean facilities, freezer was very handy for my ice blocks. 20 minute walk into the village of Monyash nice welcoming pub. Me and my dog loved our stay. Plenty of local walks with a bit of research. Magpie mine and Deep dale.
Disliked None. I had no problems or issues.
Excellent site, clean, friendly and welcoming
Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite (family)
Liked I stayed here with my daughter for a hiking trip which the location was perfect. The site was friendly and welcoming and where we were touched was not far from the toilet block. /showers basic but clean with ample washing up areas.
Disliked Not the sites fault but I pitched on a slight slope so didn’t help my back much

Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite (family)
Liked I really enjoyed my two nights stay here! Facilities were good with nice hot showers (these are paid separately at 20p per 2 minutes). Relaxed atmosphere. Delicious pizza!
Tiny dislike/ observations: I stayed in Chesnut field, and it was quite steep and slopy. Maybe other fields were better, those I drove past on way in weren't that flat either. This mighy be just me, but as these are grass, in wet weather I think it might be a bit of a challenge to get to if you're in a van/ motorhome.
