From the manager: Thankyou for your kind review. We are glad you liked our site and facilities. Apologies about the lighting on the path. We did send emails out to all our guests once we realised there was an issue to let them know. Hopefully the lighting should be fixed soon. Thankyou for the recommendation and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
Excellent little site with great facilities
Primitive gravel and cement/asphalt campervan campsite (no awning)
Liked This is our second stay on this site in our camper van. It is a great location for us, not too far from home to have a weekend stay. Easy access to the peaks district's many walks. A little village near by, that could be walked to from site, with a little pub - nice food/reasonably priced.
The site is well maintained and has a great playing field for children and a specific dog walking area - keeping the 2 separate. Hard standing pitches, great in the wet weather! The shower/toilet facilities offer warm rooms and water - very clean. A kitchen area available to use kettle, hob and microwave if needed and washing up facilities. My sone particularly loved the 'relaxation area' as he called it - a lounge area with sofa, table and chairs and some DVDs games to use.

Primitive gravel and cement/asphalt campervan campsite (no awning)
Liked Lovely warm toilets/showers/communal areas perfect for this time of year. Communal area a great addition, I’m sure it would be popular at busier times, great for socialising and meeting new people. Wifi worked well, toilets/showers were very clean. Location perfect for exploring the local area

Liked Lovely clean facilities, easy to pitch up and use. Friendly.
Disliked Literally right next to an A road so if your after some sleep you wont get any. Lorrys thundering past until gone midnight and then started at 3am they shake the motorhome as they pass its that close.
