What customers say
Stunning country views & peaceful, basic camping. Ed, the owner, is praised for friendliness. Beautiful scenery! Facilities are clean but basic; hot showers & fire pits. Pitches can be sloped, access track bumpy. Men's toilets sometimes need work.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Fantastic campsite, lovely views, great size pitches, we were lucky to get one with a picnic table and we were able to rent a firepit and have BBQs. Facilities were all decent. Had a great time!
Disliked Men's portaloo was less ideal than a proper toilet but they had proper toilets for women

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Great location
Fantastic host / farmer
Could hire a fire pit
Calm & peaceful
Perfect sunset view
Disliked Flying ants - I think we were just unlucky with where we pitched our tent! Couldn’t be helped and was not due to anything on the venue at all, just being outside in nature!

Really enjoyed it, I'll be back as my son also loved it
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Views was brilliant, location spot on, owner very helpful
Disliked The male toilet was a portaloo and could be improved, a patio slab which is level on each pitch would also be good, next doors gas cooker went over and I had to rush over to put it out so definately a little hard standing concrete pad would be ideal as the pitches are all level

Showers and toilets were perfect. The site was lovely and clean and there were ready made log burners available.
We saw sheep, geese, rabbits, kestrels, bats… to name but a few.
We had such a lovely, peaceful and relaxing weekend and will definitely be back! We highly recommend this site.

Liked Ed the farmer very friendly & welcoming! Beautiful views from every pitch & good basic facilities. Pitches are a great size and site not at all busy when we went, even though it's summer holidays. Perfect for relaxing and watching the wildlife go by.

Lovely views of the sunset.…
Primitive grass campervan campsite
Liked Lovely views of the sunset.
Disliked Long bumpy driveway to access, full of potholes- drive really slowly so as not to take out the underside of your vehicle.
Dirty pitches, covered with goose droppings. Litter around toilet facilities.
