What customers say
A quiet, simple campsite amid lovely nature. Guests love the friendly owners, roomy spots, and chances to see wildlife and hike. Facilities are basic but usually clean and work well. The cafe and farm shop are a hit. Some mention uneven ground and farm smells. Great for a chill, nature escape.

Great basic camping site.
Primitive grass and earth travel trailer campsite
Liked Very rural location. Great dark skies. Lots of space, a large field. Although rural still easy to get to from M3 and M4. Appreciated it had flush toilets and water.
Owner very helpful and good communication.

Liked Naturally beautiful site with much needed shade. Yes, minimal facilities but you get what you pay for. Back to nature & my happy place. Minimal road noise considering proximity in busy Berks

Peace and tranquility. I stayed here…
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Peace and tranquility. I stayed here for a week with my dog. I have found this to be the best campsite in the area. Back to basics without the frills. Deer grazing in the meadow outside my tent along with foxes, badgers and amazing birds of prey. I couldn’t want for anything more.
I stayed here alone and I couldn’t have felt more safe.
I met some lovely campers staying on site too. Everyone was so warm and welcoming! Massive thank you to Audrey and the team for this little slice of heaven. We can’t wait to return!

I personally loved the site
Primitive grass and earth travel trailer campsite
Liked Natural peaceful site with beautiful surroundings, woods and trails. Nature lovers dream.
Disliked There’s nothing to dislike but worth saying ‘basic toilet facilities’ although clean. No showers so camping as it should be. more than compensated by the beautiful surroundings

Lovely little site, we will be back!
Primitive grass and earth travel trailer campsite
Liked Really liked the connection to nature, the wild meadow separating the tents form the vans, the trees, walks from the site. Great for wildlife too, we heard deer barking, saw a baby pheasants and heard a wood pecker.
Friendly welcome and an easy site to navigate.
We didn’t use the facilities as we are self contained in our van so can’t comment on them.
