Liked: We were first to arrive and camped on the far side away from the woods and facilities block, 3 families, 3 pitches. 4 adults, 7 kids between 4-9. We had the entire side of the field to ourselves as no-one camped next to us. All the pitches around the facilities filled up. The place feels really roomy, decent size pitches, big fields to run in, woods to explore behind the site.
Level pitches, can drive onto pitches to load/unload and then move to the parking area.
Very clean facilities and easy going owner.
Disliked: The grass was very very long. 9 out of 11 of us suffered really bad hayfever! (I know it's part of camping, but this was extreme hayfever, the meds barely touched the symptoms)
But the kids loved the long grass as they could hide in it, throw things for others in the group to find etc. They played for hours in it, hence the above issue lol.
It was advertised as having miles of walking trails but we couldn't find any except the woodlands. Google maps kept trying to take us along busy roads so we gave up. Perhaps you could put a map on the wall in the kitchen area so guests could take a picture? Also we didn't see any of the animals and it didn't feel welcoming to come onto the owners house but to look for them?

Liked: Large open field - great for ball sports and kite flying (obviously campers). Clean toilets with running water. Kitchen with Fridge and sink to wash up indoors useful in unpredictable British weather. There was a Chemical disposal point for emptying toilet although I didn’t find this in the website information. Lovely woods at the side for exploration; part of Whipsnade nature reserve I believe. Owner lovely, chatty and informative of local area and a beautiful wee dog named ‘flip flop’. Would happily return to this campsite.
Disliked: Showers were basic, in an outdoor hut but I was out off by the fact that you could see over the top. Only one hand dryer and it was in the mens. Airplanes landing at Luton went low overhead which some people may not like unless aviation fans.

Liked: Relaxed, no fuss, good value, good essential facilities, flat dry grassy pitches
Disliked: Like most locations in the area, some plane noise from Luton airport, it is what it is and didn't detract from our stay.

Liked: Having a “kitchen” area with a fridge and a sink. Could do with some chairs and table, but it was a pleasant surprise
Disliked: Outdoor showers only, it was very cold with very strong winds so not pleasantly. There is some covered indoor area but the door was always wide open and it was freezing as well

Liked: Stayed for a weekend and loved the site. Friendly owners and the site itself feels safe. Brilliant facilities, some of the best we've seen camping, icnluson a fridge and indoor washing up.
Nice and peaceful site that is well located and easily accessible. Don't forget your earplugs to save you from the plane noise, though! Only downside.
Disliked: Planes, but this can be mitigated.

Liked: The toilets were clean, staff were welcoming and friendly . Lots of lovely walks and a pub in walking distance
Disliked: Maybe due to a thunderstorm there were airplanes flying over most of the night

From the manager: Thank you for your lovely "liked" words; my brother works hard to keep the site clean and he (and the dog, flip flop) are always really friendly to guests.
The flight path into Luton Airport is a little out of our control though!!
Would probably camp there in the future.
