Camping pod (pet friendly)
Liked Fairoak Lakes are stunning, hidden in a safe, peaceful spot near Chepstow, accessed via a single track lane. I enjoyed the scenery and birdsong. The woodland trails are just past the lodge through a gate. The ducks and geese are tame. They approach guests and accept bird food that is purchased on site. There are cows and goats in the fields behind the pods. The site is well maintained and family owned. Each pod has an animal name and a forest theme. The pods are cosy with lighting, kettle and a fridge. There is WiFi on the site. The facilities are clean. Each pod has a picnic bench and fire pit. Sitting out to watch the sunset with my senior dog was the highlight of my stay. There are no cars by the pods. The grass is neat. Remember to take towels and a picnic blanket. I did drive to the Spar once to get strawberries. I was onsite just relaxing or walking around the lake and taking photos. I recommend this site for a quiet break and restful sleep.

Camping pod
Liked The pod was safe and warm with a lamp and heating and a locked door with a small garden fenced in for my dog to enjoy. The Welsh theme was lovely. The farm animals looked healthy and happy. All the staff were kind and helpful. The food from the cafe was very good.
