Wasselonne, Bas-Rhin, France
Power optional grass site
Liked Clean, well organised campsite. Pleasant staff on reception. Pitches mainly shaded by trees, so our Starlink didn’t work, but shade would be nice to have in hot weather.
Disliked Nothing to dislike about the campsite. Nothing to do outside campsite local town run down and deserted. No bars or restaurants. Little shop sold most items.

Cheddar, Somerset, England
Grove powered concrete slab caravan site
Liked The site is functional and clean. Toilets etc were clean. There is a nice walk from the site, although we got part way and couldn’t figure out where to go and turned back. We drove to the queen Victoria inn at Priddy. Good food. Good location and short drive to Cheddar.
Disliked It’s a mix of residential caravans and touring pitches which you may or may not like. Toilets and showers dated but clean, but for the pitch price ok. Staff ok but not that forthcoming. Pub in closest village which is in walking distance permanently closed.

Liked Well spaced pitches, clean facilities and friendly owner. Very peaceful site, just turn up at your pitch. They tell you your pitch number before you get there. Owner, Callum nice guy, comes to see you how you are getting on at some point during your arrival day. Site well positioned for day outs to Southwold, dunwich or a bit further for Aldeburgh

Powered gravel caravan site
Liked Friendly greeting on arrival. Site was clean and tidy. Fairly small site, which was nice. Shower rooms were modern and pleasant to use, with wash basin and shower screen to stop clothes etc getting wet. Toilet cubicles always clean. Enjoyable stay.
