Powered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked The owner was the most helpful I've ever met. The facilities were spotless. Fridge and freezer were very handy. Loved the swap shop and the useful umbrella we borrowed. The dog walking field was amazing for the pooch. Great location and nice flat pitches. Pitch was also huge! Not many campsites have fresh flowers in the toilets! The wildlife is amazing- we saw swallows, owls, frogs, and all manner of birds.
Disliked Nothing at all. Apart from having to come home!

Chill Rose cabin (pet friendly)
Liked Cleanliness. Quiet. Cafe. Lovely bedding. Good shower.
Disliked Could do with curtains over the blinds to stop draughts. A hair dryer would also be amazing and a radio or speaker.

Unpowered grass site
Liked Nice flat pitches. East to find.
Disliked The toilets were not cleaned throughout our two night stay, as the same tampax wrapper was on the floor when we arrived as when we left. The floor was filthy and there was little or no toilet roll.

Fully-serviced grass site
Liked Lovely big pitches surrounded by tall grass for privacy. Level ground. Nice play area. Toilets spotless and showers very new and efficient, and so warm! John and his team couldn't do enough to help. Gorgeous views.
Disliked Nothing to dislike, the site was pretty much perfect!

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Level ground, friendly staff, peaceful site, can see the kids wherever they play due to the field size.
Disliked No sink in the toilet to wash hands (although gel is provided), fire pit was huge and so took a lot more logs to get a good effect out of.
