Powered concrete slab caravan site
Liked Clean and tidy toilets and showers, although the number pad to access the men’s toilet wasn’t working properly.
The landscape is very well maintained and the staff are very friendly.
Disliked The access door to the men’s toilets didn’t work properly and took many attempts to access.

Liked Very relaxing area with good clean basic facilities. Lovely walks in the grounds of the old house.
We didn’t find any staff on arrival so called the phone number and were advised to just pitch up and enjoy our stay. It was off season and only one other pitch was occupied so this was no problem for us.
The toilet and shower block are basic but very clean and more than adequate at this quiet time of year.
The grounds of the old house are well maintained and there are longer walks along the river or into the local village where there is a nice pub.
Overall a very relaxing, quiet and enjoyable few days. We’re looking forward to returning when the temperature rises.

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked A lovely time exploring the local area with Bunroy park as our base.
Ate at the Roy Bridge pub just up the road which is dog friendly with tasty food and friendly service.
Bunroy park was a joy, pitched by the river. Toilets and showers are clean fresh. Not much in the way of other facilities so simple camping is the idea here. Very enjoyable.

Disliked I can’t really specify anything I disliked. For the price it was a wonderful campsite.

Fully-serviced concrete and grass caravan site
Liked The swimming pool and changing rooms were kept to a high standard.
The pitches were large allowing us to keep our caravan full size awning and car at the pitch without infringing on the grass area.
The beach is just a short walk away through a lovely wooded area.
Some lovely walking areas in the vicinity.
The bike trail by the leisure center was a big hit with the kids.
Play area is big and diverse.
Disliked The reception/shop was understaffed and some of the staff seemed put out by our presence while we shopped, while, to be fair others were wonderfully friendly. However, we often had to wait a few minutes for service.
The food in the leisure center bistro is nothing to write home about. It seems to be more about quality than quantity. Huge portions but nobody was impressed with the food.
