Liked Even though we said we would not come back after staying at the start of the season, here we are again haha. The site is lovely and the staff are very helpful.
Disliked still not got the WIFI sorted and still poor phone signal.

Liked The view was spectacular. The guy on check in was very helpful and friendly.
Disliked Toilets not the best, rubbish laying around the pitch including a pair of old boxers. The residents with the jet ski`s pumping out loud music. The same residents have a large dog that runs free around the area, and attacked my dog. When i confronted them, she said he is the security dog.
Booked 2 nights only stayed 1 night

Liked Nice almost level pitches, friendly staff. Good wee track to walk the dog. all in all a decent wee site
Disliked The reason only 4 stars rated, the shower cost £1 for 6 minutes, that is fair enough, however when it actually stops after about 3 minutes and yer mrs has a head full of shampoo still its a pain having to leave the actual cubicle to stick another £1 in the slot. In reality for a guy £1 would be fine a woman it prob cost about £3 and some one to keep feeding the machine to save you having to wrap up and jump out each time.

Liked This is the perfect getaway place. Great scenery and the new addition of the showers is great. The family run site is just taking off and they have got the perfect plan. It’s basic for that wild feel but still has the amenities to make your stay that bit easier.
Disliked Was only there 1 night.

Liked The view is awesome. the pitch was spacious and almost perfectly level. water and power on the fully serviced pitch were good.
Disliked grey waste was told to just let it run out. WiFi was non existent when you were 10 feet away from server, so no use on the pitch. Mobile phone useless as no signal or internet. No tv signal.

Liked Excellent fully serviced plot, ablutions were spotless. The staff from the reception to the ground workers were all friendly and helpful. We would not go back but that is only because we very rarely return to the same site twice.
Disliked The phone signal 5G and WiFi were pretty non existent. Only concerned as i was expecting important information during the 3 night break.

Liked Fantastic site. The grounds were well maintained. The ablutions were something on par to some top hotels, modern and spotless. Welcomed with a smile and given all info on arrival. The wee map of the site and the surrounding areas was great.

Liked Very clean and tidy site. Friendly staff when we arrived. The long term residents were also very friendly and helpful.
Disliked Only down side is the Grey waste disposal is not accessible with the motorhome unless you have a extra long drain hose. The noise from the close by A1 is quiet loud but once in the Moho with the TV / Radio on you do not hear it.

Liked Very nice, small campsite. The motorhome pitches have water, electric and drainage at each pitch. The site has a dog field you can let the pooch run free in and a nice walk down to a river. Campsite was very easy to find and although it is close to a road it is quiet. Toilet and washing facilities were clean and functional.
Disliked No real signage to inform where anything is within the site. Couldn't get the wi-fi to work anywhere other than right beside the main building.

Liked Excellent small site. The pitches are ample sized and the spot we had (15) was very secluded by the hedgerow around it, almost totally flat surface that was not worth the hassle of using wedges. The ablutions were spotless and the service areas are well maintained and well signposted. Dish washing and hand washing laundry facilities available.
A lovely walk round the pond, with ducks and beautiful pond lilies, and a really enjoyable stroll across the road and follow the Glentrool Kindness Trail which is full of painted stones for a longer dog walk. Very quiet site, easy to find and good value.
Duty manager was friendly and a really nice guy who took time to chat and advise on where to take the dog for a walk. We would definitely use the site again - especially as it is in one of the UK's Dark Sky Parks and we didn't get a chance to enjoy that because of the weather.
Disliked Unfortunately there was only one shower working in the ladies on what was a fairly busy site. Both the laundry and shop closed for refurbishment at the moment. We had to go to Newton Stewart 10 miles away to buy provisions.
