Liked The owner contacted us by telephone to ask what time we expected to arrive. We were on the ferry crossing from Larne, Northern Ireland. We said we thought about 6pm and he told us to make ourselves at home at any of the touring pitches that were free. It is a really peaceful place on the banks of Loch Ryan, although very close to the road, but that wasn't a problem for us.
Disliked Nothing really not to like.

Liked The site was quiet ( as off peak), clean facilties, friendly welcome by fellow campers and also by the owners. Great selection of touring campervan spaces to choose from all with a view of the loch. Nice evening walk up to see the animals and along the loch shore. Out son liked the kids play area. Perfect location for us to catch the ferry to Northern Ireland the next day.
