The pod was clean and had enough space. The facilities were clean and the showers warm and continuous.
The games room was a nice feature.

Power optional grass tent site (large)
Liked We stayed on electric grass pitch 45 and it was really odd as it was sloping and uneven but pitch was close to clubhouse.
I liked the toilets they were clean and plenty of them.
The bar and food were good and reasonable prices for portion size.
The laundry facility was broken which we needed as we were on a road trip which was not ideal but the woman at front desk (owner?) made a few calls and there was a laundrette in Whitby that could help out so that was useful and proactive.
Disliked The way we were sold electric at check in to discover there was plenty already on there. Which if we were allowed to look first we wouldn't have purchased any.
Also, it felt like a very strict rule to not go over our pitch size to discover our neighbours were on our pitch by at least a foot (this didn't bother us and they were lovely about it) but we thought has everyone been strictly told like us. And the pitches were too close together/and quite small anyway.
We then saw gazebos being used and pup tents so not sure if that was a one off for the steampunk weekend?

Camping pod
Liked The site was peaceful and the Pod we were in was clean and good location. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Mablethorpe beach was stunning and quiet and an easy drive to get to.
Disliked The state of the toilets and showers. 2 out of 3 blocks had a sewage smell (i even bought air freshener to use in there) and the closest one to us was blocked and leaking, i reported it but nothing got sorted until at least 24 hours later.
We did not get informed we needed to leave a £20 deposit for key return until checked in but then on returning it we were told it was an accommodation inspection fee. It did get returned very promptly but after we had left.
