Liked Not a lot.
Disappointed is an understatement!
Disliked Very disappointed. It’s mid August so peak school holidays nothing and I mean nothing was open.
No staff to book us in. In fact the whole place is deserted run down and shabby.
Nothing like what was advertised.
No office. No cafe. No shop. No adventure playground.
The giant “BIFFA” waste bins by the amenities block overflowing and rubbish on the floor blowing around.
The “hard standing pitch’ turned out to be an area of scalpings.
The pitches are very narrow so when the people next to us put their tent up it was within a meter of our awning. What about the 6 meter rule for fire regulations?
The only redeeming thing was the newly built toilet block but that needs cleaning on a more regular basis. Not just a quick flick once a day!
I could go on but I think you can get the picture.
When we are paying £44 a night we expect a lot more than this!!!

From the manager: Hi Nigel, Thank you so much for your kind words! We're really glad to hear you liked the layout of the pitches and found our location convenient for exploring both Axminster and Weymouth. It's also great to know the amenity blocks met your expectations — our team works hard to keep everything clean and tidy. And we're especially happy to hear there was "nothing to moan about" — that's what we love to hear! 😄 We hope to welcome you back again soon. Best wishes, Newlands Holidays
