Liked Parked close to fresh water
Disliked The gate that was supposed to be closed and coded was always open. Field fences was dilapidated and the field was very uncared for. 2 tourers that looked like they were long term residents. Static caravans were very nice which one of them was the wardens. Warden only spoke to us to say dogs needed to be on the lead although they were right by the door of our van. Never approached us or showed us where bins etc were. I did email and received email days after we had already left. Money not spent on the touring pitch field only spent on the static side. Wouldn't recommend or go back.

Liked Only planned to stay one night but stayed 3 instead as we had to go home! ☹️ what a delight to find this little treasure. Its a rescue centre first and foremost and then camping site second. It has everything you would need and more with a lovely warm welcome from Ian and Josie and the team. Its like a little community which is a beautiful atmosphere. They have all the facilities showers, toilets, waste, fresh water, little shop without the camp site £££, bar, cafe/breakfast bar, play park, dog run to let dog off lead. You have the choice of electric or non electric pitches. Lots of animals to see from donkeys, pigs, ferrets, rabbits, peacocks to my favourite Highland cow. Lots more to mention, all rescued and have a story but are loved beyond now. Amazing for my family who consists of grumpy husband, chronic pain wife, ASD 11 year old daughter and 3 fur babies xx
Disliked We disliked absolutely nothing. Part from packing up to leave!!

Fully-serviced concrete slab caravan site
Liked The facilities were clean, we absolutely loved the dog field (so did the dogs and our daughter). Everything was well maintained and had extras with leaflets, dvds, books that you could borrow if you wanted. The site was quiet 🤫 and absolutely gorgeous 😍. Added extra there is also a dog grooming shed if your dog gets a little muddy you can give them a little wash and blow dry yourself no extra cost. This place has it all for a very decent cost.
Disliked There is nothing to write here!

Liked The toilet and shower block nice and clean, place to wash your dishes with freezer.
The animals, big pitches, charlie site manager was friendly and polite.
Disliked Only 1 shower, very muddy site. When we got there the signage wasn't clear on pitches. Had to phone site manager nd he said to park on a clear hardstanding. The email wasn't clear could have said pitch number etc and then signage at the pitch.

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear that you found the toilet and shower block clean, and that Charlie, our site manager, was friendly and polite. We also appreciate your comments about the large pitches and the dishwashing area with the freezer. We apologise for the issues you encountered with the signage we are in the middle of having new signs made. unfortunatley the grass was slightly muddy in places as we closed for the whole of January to re do all the electrics on site. Your comments are invaluable as we strive to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We hope to welcome you back soon!
