Cowbridge, Glamorgan, Wales
Unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked Second visit - Well-maintained site with friendly staff and great facilities, including a café, bar and showers. Good local ciders, a pub 10 minutes away, and a lovely secluded beach a 20-minute walk through woodland.
Disliked Nothing really. If picky then no chemical waste disposal, and no Wifi in the field... first world problems

Frome, Somerset, England
Power optional grass and gravel motorhome site
Liked Good communication pre-arrival with easy access to site. Well maintained pitches with EHU and access to water. Facilities very clean with complimentary cleaning products. Location was perfect for access to Frome for Cheese and Grain music venue (£13 taxi ride from campsite to town centre)
Disliked No warm water in one shower block which was a result of gas bottle running out. Nobodies fault, down to timing, but not a cold shower fan.

Calne, Wiltshire, England
Unpowered grass site (medium)
Liked Friendly staff in reception and Sam's bar. Well stocked shop on site for essentials and 2 x well equipped shower/toilet 'amenity' blocks. We didn't fish in the 2 x lakes but made good use of the big open spaces for games and relaxation. Sam's bar is open Friday and Saturday during the winter and has an ample choice of drinks + pizzas at a reasonable price. The Talbot pub is only a 15 minute walk and the centre of Calne 30 minutes.

From the manager: Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. Sam's Bar is currently closed for the winter, but pizzas are available on a Friday evening should you visit us again in the near future. We hope to see you again soon. Kind regards The Blackland Team
