We stayed here for two nights…

June 2026

Liked We stayed here for two nights in our small tent as a family of four. Most visitors seemed to be staying in the chalets, so we felt a little unusual as campers, but we enjoyed our stay overall. The campsite is fairly large and the facilities were generally clean. The toilet blocks were perfectly acceptable in terms of cleanliness, although we were surprised that neither toilet paper nor soap was provided. As this was one of our first experiences of Italian campsites, we weren't sure whether this was typical or specific to this site, so it's simply something future visitors may wish to know. Although the campsite has written quiet hours, there were organised activities by the swimming pool that continued into the evening. Our tent wasn't far from the pool, so there was more noise than we had expected. It didn't spoil our stay, but it's worth bearing in mind if you're looking for an especially quiet campsite. The highlight for our family was definitely the swimming pool. It costs extra to use, but it is beautifully maintained, a great size and, best of all, never felt crowded. Our children absolutely loved spending time there, and for them it was easily the best part of the campsite. The nearby village is pleasant, with a good selection of local food shops and several nice restaurants, making it easy to enjoy the local area without travelling far. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. If you're looking for a well-equipped campsite with an excellent pool and don't mind a livelier atmosphere in the evenings, this is a good choice.

Great base for visiting Bologna

June 2026

Liked We stayed here for two nights in our small tent as a family of four, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The campsite is small, peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside, making it a lovely place to relax while still being within easy reach of Bologna. What really made the stay special were the hosts, Roberto and Maddalena. They were incredibly kind and welcoming, taking the time to chat with us about life in Italy, the history of their property and the local area. Their warmth made us feel much more like guests than customers, and they were always happy to offer recommendations and advice. We also appreciated being able to buy some of their homemade preserves and local wine. The campsite itself is simple but very well looked after. The shared community space, which is part of the hosts' home, is cosy, spotless and always smelled wonderfully fresh. We were lucky to have good weather, but it would be a perfect place to spend some time if it were raining. Our children especially loved the friendly dog and cat, who quickly became highlights of their stay. Bologna is easy to reach by public transport, although we did have some difficulties buying bus tickets. We couldn't work out how to purchase tickets for all four of us, and later read that the ticket app may not accept Polish bank cards, so perhaps we were simply unlucky. It would be really helpful if the campsite could provide guests with a little information about the local ticketing system and any alternatives before they head into the city. Overall, this is a wonderful place if you enjoy small, quiet campsites with genuine hospitality rather than large, commercial sites. We left with very happy children and would happily stay here again.

From the manager: Hi Mirosława, we were very lucky to meet you and your family, for us it's a pleasure to have children around and people who appreciate what we do. It's not easy to keep one with a such big and challanging project, so your review make us very proud and happy! Have a great stay in Italy and thanks again for your visit!

A gem if you value simplicity, nature, animals and genuine hospitality

July 2026

Liked We are a family of four with two daughters (aged 7 and 10), and we stayed here for five nights in our large tent. We visited just before the Italian holiday season, so we were the only guests, and we absolutely loved it. That said, if you're looking for a highly organised campsite with polished facilities and a resort-style atmosphere, this probably isn't the place for you. But if you enjoy simple, authentic places surrounded by nature, this one is really special. The hosts were still preparing everything for summer and came to the farm each day, but weren't staying there overnight yet. Even so, Angelo was always easy to reach, replied to our messages promptly, happily answered our questions, shared local recommendations and even taught us a little Italian. Everyone else we met was equally warm and welcoming. The facilities are simple but perfectly functional. The toilet block (with separate ladies' and gent's toilets) is housed in wooden cabins, but inside you'll find clean flushing toilets with running water. We also appreciated that toilet paper, paper towels and liquid soap were provided, which isn't always a given at Italian campsites. The showers are also simple (no roof!), but they're clean, have handy shelves for toiletries and offer great views of the surrounding countryside. The farm itself is wonderful. There are goats, chickens, ducks, donkeys, dogs, a horse and even a couple of tortoises. Our daughters absolutely loved spending time with the animals. They were allowed to visit the goats and hold tiny chicks (under Angelo's supervision), and we were incredibly lucky that a baby goat was born during our stay. Meeting and gently stroking the newborn the following day was one of the highlights of our stay. The setting is peaceful and beautifully rural. We spent hours reading and relaxing in our hammock — the cool breeze at the farm made the summer heat much more pleasant than in the nearby towns. We enjoyed cooking outside and eating at the tables and benches around the campsite. It was wonderfully quiet, although I imagine it becomes livelier during the height of the season. The campsite also has two clean, newly installed swimming pools: a larger one and a smaller paddling pool for toddlers, along with a pleasant sunbathing area. The location is an excellent base for exploring the beautiful towns such of Locorotondo, Alberobello, Ostuni and Polignano a Mare (and many more — ask Angelo for recommendations!), all within an easy drive. There are also supermarkets and other shops in nearby Mottola, around 10 minutes away by car. Our children didn't want to leave and said it was one of their favourite campsites ever. We felt exactly the same. If you value simplicity, nature, animals and genuine hospitality more than luxury or rigid organisation, this place is a real gem.
