Liked Location Clean bathrooms and toilets Orchard bar was a bonus

Disliked If we were there longer we would have put our Awning up , which would have not been good . Our pitch and others have a small area to the side of the caravan but not enough which meant the awing would be spread across grass and gravel.

We're delighted you enjoyed your stay at Briarfields and appreciated our convenient location, spotless shower and toilet facilities, and our newly opened Orchard Bar & Kitchen. It's wonderful to hear the bar was an added bonus! Thank you also for your comments about the space for an awning. Our fully serviced pitches are approximately 11.5m x 8.2m overall, with a designated gravel hardstanding area, and we do advise in our booking information that we can accommodate awnings up to a maximum depth of 2 metres. The majority of our caravan guests are able to use their awnings successfully, although positioning the caravan correctly on the pitch can make quite a difference to the space available. The adjoining grass areas need to remain clear for fire safety reasons, so awnings must be contained within the designated hardstanding area. We're sorry you felt there wouldn't have been sufficient room on your particular pitch, and we do wish we'd had the opportunity to have a look with you during your stay, as we may have been able to offer some helpful advice. Most importantly, we're absolutely delighted to hear you loved Briarfields and are already looking at returning in December! Liked Clean site. Shower block clean

Disliked The traffic noise can be heard. Only one shower and two toilets. No rubbish deposit so had to take it home

From the manager: Thank you for the review. I’m pleased to hear that you found the site and shower block clean. We do actually have nine showers and thirteen toilets or urinals on site. Our bin store/recycling station is located near the entrance and would’ve been shown on the site map that you were given.

Liked We had a great time, and loved the campsite because it was flat and very wide open and spacious. The bathroom facilities were very nice and always spotless. We also like the horse box bar, very nice to be able to have a cool fraught beer on site.The other plus was the location, perfect for walking into Brixham and quick access to the SW coastal path. Awesome site and already planning a return asap.
