Powered concrete slab caravan site
Liked Well laid out, private, clean and attractive site. Toilet and showers excellent. Lots of hot water at wash-up and showers. Easy access, the owners gave us a code for our late arrival.
Liked the picnic tables at most of the pitches. Would use this site again.
Disliked Only one small thing. No hhoks in the toilet/shower cubicle. Everything had to lie on the floor.
Put in a couple of hooks please.

Power optional grass and earth motorhome site
Liked Lovely welcome from helpful staff.
I would not want to stay for more than a night or two, but it's the only option for visiting Leon.
Loved the bird song from owls and cuckoos
Disliked Site was tired and old fashioned. No soap or dryers in toilets for example, no hooks in the shower, no toilet seat. That kind of thing.

Powered grass and gravel site
Liked The new toilet block was generally pretty good. Possibly the best wash-up and laundry we have come across, Excellent showers with good hot water.
The pitch was spacious, private easy to find and access. The site is well lit at night. The area is a great place for walking, bird watching etc. Never saw the owners, reception was closed all weekend but I did receive a text with info.
Disliked The excellent, new toilet/shower cubicles were really outdoors as they were each free standing in an open shed, As the weather was wet, everywhere was covered in muddy footprints. It was February I suppose but the earth access roads around the site became very muddy and slippery when it rained. I expect that when they get more organised and resurface the roads with gravel or tar, this will improve. One more slightly critical observation, the site could do with one or two signposts, including on the main road.

Power optional concrete slab site
Liked the location was ideal for our purpose, easy to locate and just off the A7 without being affected by traffic noise. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.
The pitches are spacious and level.
The site is located in a very beautiful area with lovely views.
Disliked We appreciated that the hosts are just in their first year of setting up the site, but the wash up and toilet facilities could do with a bit of TLC. I'm sure they will be looking at this as the next project.

Liked well laid out site with good access and well spaced out pitches. very tidy, clean and well maintained. staff were friendly and very helpful. the toilet facilities were very clean and of a good standard.
it's a great area for access to the western lakes, the beaches and the local villages. we would use this site again.
Disliked the showers were a bit low on pressure and temperature but still ok.
I thought that the recycling bins could have included glass and plastic as well as cans and cardboard.

site owner/manager was very friendly and helpful.
lots of hot water for washing and dish-washing. tariff was average.
Disliked disappointed in the toilet / shower block. I thought the showers had seen better days and could do with being upgraded..
the shower block was not heated and doors were to be kept open at all times.
these were only problems for us because we only had a small campervan. ok mif you were in a caravan.
