Power optional concrete slab caravan site (members only)
Liked Quiet site, no need to get the hook up out, already there, metered. Very neat and tidy, clean bathroom. Short walk to the canal, bus stop, shop and pub. Very friendly. Near the railway and motorway, but we didn't notice it. Wren and long tailed tit to name only 2 of the many birds around.
Disliked Nothing to dislike about the site. Had to be caravan and motorhome member.

Camping pod
Liked Great site, plenty of room for children to play, playground, fishing pond, clean showers and toilets. Very easy check in, thank you Summer. Great pod with kettle, toaster and small fridge. There was even some tea, coffee and paper cups (just in case!) Outside there was a picnic table and tall fire pit/ bbq. We took our grandson and he loved it. The llamas too were so friendly. I have already recommended it to friends. Even Wallings ice cream at £2 a tub (take change) was a nice touch in a vending machine.
Disliked No wifi.

Powered grass and gravel motorhome site
Liked Lovely quiet location. Level pitch, with hardstanding and grass. Large pitches. The amenity block was basic, but ok. Limited internet access, due to rural location. There was a pub just down the road, we didn't sample it, but there are great reviews.
Disliked Amenity block could do with an upgrade and freshen up.

Powered concrete slab caravan site (super)
Liked Lovely setting, peaceful and rural. We were met, in the snow, everything explained and directed to our pitch. The pitch was level. There was a height barrier, but it was no problem for it to be opened. There was 5 inches of snow all over the site, but the driveway was clear. The amenity block was lovely and clean and warm. Just off the expressway. At £20 pn it was a great price.
Disliked Wifi had to be bought, only satellite access.

Unpowered grass campervan or trailer tent site
Liked Lovely quiet site. No showers, but toilets (1 ladies,1 gents). 6 minute walk to a village shop and pub. There are walks very close by, with a bridleway that does lead you to Knott End eventually with a bus to come back to the village.
Disliked No shower, but we were only an overnight stay.

Liked Great showers, toilets and washup area. Elsan point and water stand. Grass pitch, plenty of choice. Met by Neil, chose our spot from ones offered, very level pitch. Cafe on site, but a bit pricey.
Disliked Recently cut grass so a bit messy, but we were on a field!! Luckily the weather was 😃😃

Powered concrete and grass caravan site
Liked We arrived and found the site exactly as described. We picked our own pitch, there are 6 hardstanding pitches, great when the grass is wet. There is electric and water on each pitch. The site is well spaced, has a great shower and toilet block, with a washing up area that is covered out side of the block. There is another block being built at the other end of the site. The waste disposal area was clean and tidy with lots of bins and Elsan point. There are fruit trees lining each pitch, we can't wait to go back when they are in bloom or fruiting. We even had a call from Mark (from Fuerteventura on holiday) to make sure we were okay. The local village is walking distance with a local shop (well stocked) and a pub. The Farm is across the road, a lovely farm shop with food and a petting type area for the children.
