Disliked Pitches were bit too close to one another

Liked Non allocated pitches. Pizza hut and the bar. Liked the option of a sunday roast but didnt stay long enough to try it.

Disliked Coins not accepted in the dryers.

Liked The rental of the fire pit from the shop on site. The feel of security of the site and the shop was reasonable priced.

Disliked The walk that didn't state it was a private footway.

From the manager: Thanks for your comments. I'm not sure what you private footway you are referring to. There is a public footpath leading to the meadow camping field across our neighbours land. The land to either side of the path is signed private. Apologies if this confused you, the path is for public access and connects you to the wider footpath network

Liked The enclosed tent pitch with hidden nearby walks and also the porta loos always had toilet roll :)

Disliked There's a sign on a walk that says public path but a lady told us off as it's a private road.

Liked the busy atmosphere and how everyone camped well together, the shop is really helpful with good stock, the river running through was amazing especially letting the children play in there. the woods were perfect for the dog too

Liked I loved the swimming pool and the size of the camp

Disliked The entertainment, talented singers but the banter was awkward

Liked how easy it was to book in and the understanding of payment. I liked the easy access to fields nearby for my dog to be walked, The showers and toilet blocks were kept clean and the water was hot. Even the hairdryer was a nice touch. There was a nice relaxed feel of the campsite and the children were happy.

Disliked there wasnt anything i disliked about this camp site.
