Kim's Camping

Get out into the Costa Brava outdoors: plenty of walking trails are in the area surrounding Kim's Camping, as well as biking, beach strolls and watersports including diving and sailing. A golf course is 15 minutes away. About 10 minutes' walk from the site is the swish seaside town of Llafranc, a popular Spanish coastal spot that's had the likes of Salvador Dali and the Hollywood glitterati pitching up throughout the years. It's a traditional Spanish seaside town with plenty of decent restaurants at which to sample the local seafood and the catch of the day. From Llafranc, wander the kilometre and a half or so around the mighty scenic and pine-scented wooded headland to Calella de Palafrugell, a small coastal resort with award-winning sands. Its coastline runs south towards El Golfet beach and the Cap Roig headland: the botanic gardens here are a bit of a must. The province capital of Girona is about 60 kilometres from base.
