Pitch by the fishing pond

  • Well-kept Wallonia family site five minutes’ drive from Beauvechain
  • Walibi Belgium 15 minutes’ drive and medieval Leuven 25 minutes
  • Petting zoo, playground and pétanque court; fishing and swimming ponds
Immaculately kept leafy surroundings, fishing ponds and a small petting zoo are just three of the selling points at Willow Camp, a peaceful and verdant site five minutes’ drive from Beauvechain in the French-speaking province of Walloon Brabant. This is not the place for late-night music and lots of organised entertainment, but if you’re looking to reconnect with loved ones in peaceful rural surroundings, then it’s definitely the spot for you. There’s a satisfyingly long list of practical facilities too: separate shower blocks for men and women, an accessible shower, a laundry room, baby-changing facilities and a dishwashing area all take the hard work out of your holiday. Other bonuses include secure parking away from your pitch, a playground and pétanque court. Add in to all of that swimming in the ponds, plus friendly donkeys, ponies, pigs and sheep for you all to get to know, and in short all bases are pretty much covered for all ages.
