What customers say
A peaceful, back-to-basics spot with great views & river access. Lovely warm showers & clean loos are a hit, as are the spacious pitches & free fire pits (logs for sale). Ideal for nature lovers, hikers & bikers. Minor loo/shower upkeep noted, plus occasional mud.

Great value campsite in a stunning location.
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked - Stunning location.
- River! Great for a quick swim to cool off.
- Great base for hillwalking (near to both Cadair Idris and the Arans).
- Spacious with pitching areas not too close.
- Didn't use them but individual fire pits are a nice touch.
- Hot showers.
Disliked - Facilities need a little TLC in places and could be cleaner (although I think some recent guests may have been more to blame).

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked I just love this site, ive been twice now in less than a year and ill probably book again near the end of August. Its facilities are minimal but clean and is definitely more of a wild camping feel. The best bit by far is the river that runs alongside it. Whether you want to wind swim or dangle your feet in it really is just the most peaceful place for a get away. The owners are very helpful and keep the site clean and re stocked. Will definitely be booking again!
