What customers say
A ripper spot with roomy sites and a top-notch kids' playground. The staff, especially Sarah, are legend for being so welcoming. Facilities are clean but a bit old-school. Great location near beaches and sights. Some punters find the sites a bit close and noisy during busy periods.

Liked As a group we have nothing to complain about. Sarah was so accommodating, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We chose this site as a first time camping group for the end of our outdoor education program. TYfu is a day service that offers vocational and social skill development to adult individuals who are neurodivergent and we could not have wished for a better experience, we look forward to seeing you all at the site next year for 2 nights this time. Highly recommended.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. We are pleased that you found our staff lovely, our toilets and showers clean, and enjoyed the playground, location and facilities.
We are, however, very disappointed to read that your stay was affected by other guests allegedly smoking cannabis. Had we been made aware, we would have investigated the matter immediately and taken appropriate action.
As a small, family-run holiday park, we are on site and available to deal with issues as they arise, but unfortunately we cannot resolve a problem that has not been brought to our attention.
It is therefore particularly disappointing to receive an overall score of 7/10, together with a decision not to recommend or return to the park, when the only negative comment relates to the alleged behaviour of other guests.
We would always encourage guests to speak to us at the time if another guest’s behaviour is affecting their stay. We take such concerns seriously and would much rather have the opportunity to resolve them there and then.
Overall pretty good

Lovey campsite, quiet and clean

Liked We had an amazing stay for our first time camping with kids and dogs, from a lovely warm welcome in to the camp, the kids were out of the car and straight into the park in the middle of the campground and a stone’s throw from the tent. Clean onsite facilities, quiet and even the ice cream man comes round also just a 5 minute walk to a Morrisons daily.
Margam Park was just 10mins away and a must to visit, car park entry and lots of free activities for kids, as for the beaches all within a very short drive but if you’re up for the walk through the sand dunes at Kenfig Nature Reserve, Sker Beach was beautiful, dog friendly and only a handful of people on it. Thank you for a wonderful first time camping experience.

Liked Absolutely beautiful pitch! Warm welcome from Sarah as we arrived, although it was windy and our first time camping a friendly neighbour helped us pitch the tent! They were actually staying an extra 3 days from what they booked as they loved it so much! Park was perfect for our girls, made friends on the first day. Facilities were clean and just what you need, showers warm and clean! Thank you so much, we are planning our time to come back soon! Ice cream van came around twice while we were there too! 7 minute drive to Porthcawl beach and Aldi where we topped up our essentials! Younger crowd at the top of the field while we were there but everyone respected the 11pm curfew for noise!
Disliked Wasps were a pain but to be expected, noted for next time we go.
