A ripper spot! Super clean, peaceful, and well-kept, right by a river and old church. Owners are legends, facilities are top-notch (showers spotless!), and the sites are spacious. Great for a chill break or exploring. Some showers could do with a spruce-up and Wi-Fi's a bit hit-and-miss.

Powered gravel and concrete caravan site

Liked A very peaceful setting, with a pretty river nearby. The toilets and showers were very clean. We were able to sit in the comfortable bar on wet evenings.

Liked Friendly welcome. Accommodating when told that we were meeting other family members. Laid back attitude. Didn’t bother us at all despite us being a large crowd.
Surprisingly good WiFi.

Shepherd's hut

Liked Very clean and well laid out, great cooking space out doors with the added bonus of having a microwave oven. Loved having my own separate toilet and shower facilities and they were spotless. Host was friendly and unintuitive. Would have liked more to do around the site, but if it’s rest and tranquility your after I would definitely recommend this site. I am a single female traveler and it felt a safe place to stay. Shepard’s hut warm and cosy, would book again in the future.

Disserth Caravan and Camping Park is in a nifty spot to use as a base to tackle the walks and bike rides of mid-Wales, or for visiting the shows and events of the nearby Royal Welsh Showground. The Elan valley and the Red Kite Feeding Centre at Gigrin Farm are 10 minutes' drive to the north. Also have a look at nearby Abbey Cym Hir Hall at Llandrindod Wells, a neo-Elizabethan country mansion built in the 19th century, and at the Judge's Lodgings in Presteigne, a recreation of a 19th-century judge's house – courtroom included. Llandrindod Wells has the National Cycle Collection of Wales in its National Cycle Museum as well as an 18-hole golf course.
