What customers say
Top spot with friendly staff, lovely woodland/riverside views. Clean facilities, handy shop & food vans. Great for walks, near Aberfoyle. A few notes on pitches being close & drainage in rain.

Nice peaceful stay
Unpowered concrete slab site (woodland)
Liked The entertainment on the Friday evening was great, a local musician playing popular songs on guitar. The showers and toilet facilities were all good particularly those in the top part of the site.
Disliked We were directed to a rather wet muddy pitch and got stuck. Staff assisted us to get the van out and we were offered an alternative non electric pitch for one night and told that we would have to move to another pitch for the next night, also non electric. No offer of a refund was made for the difference between us paying for an electric pitch.

Large well designed campsite
Powered concrete slab caravan site (woodland)
Liked Well designed site with clean amenities, nice dog walks from site, clear signs and nice touches like the option for breakfast and a takeaway meal on a Friday night. Bordered by a river and there are options for a pitch in the meadow or wood. Really well thought out.
Disliked Nothing!

Meadow powered grass and gravel site
Liked A very relaxing stay. Pitches a good size for van and awning. Liked the on site cafe, shop and the Saturday night pizza van visit was a real treat. So many lovely walks and cycles to do within easy reach. Dog loved it and the kids that were there were having a great time. Lots to do further afield. Loved it.

Gem of a campsite.
Unpowered concrete slab site (woodland)
Liked Facilities were excellent, toilets were super clean and beautiful. Shower was brilliant, hot and excellent water pressure. Exactly what you want after a big hike before bed. Drinking water available in loads of places, shop was well stocked and the coffee van was brilliant. But the my favourite part was the lovely fairly private pitch. We stayed in our roof tent so we were pitch at the top of the site surrounded by trees and right next to the start of a trail. This site is the perfect mix of little home comforts like a hot shower and nice facilities, but still felt like you were spending time in the wild. This is an excellent site that we have already recommended to friends.
