Unpowered grass site (large)
Liked First time camping in a long time! Great location, great dog walks, great little parks for kids, powerful hot showers , Sam’s bar looked inviting but can’t comment on the pizza’s as didn’t try!! overall throughly enjoyed ourselves and have already booked for end of month.
Disliked Nothing major.

A gem of a site with great facilities and beautiful landscaping.
Fully-serviced gravel caravan site
Liked Beautiful site with fishing lakes. Loved the two herons, the goats, nature walk. Site is exceptionally well maintained. Friendly, helpful staff. Good pitches. Plenty of bins and water taps, grey waste points.

Sadly let down by filthy facilities. Vermin infested and unhygienic
Fully-serviced gravel caravan site
Liked The lady in reception was super friendly and helpful although we would have appreciated being told the codes on the barrier change at 4pm and also on a Thursday.. stuck at barrier twice!
Seemed a useful little shop in reception too.
The lake was nice and the dog walk lovely around the perimeter.
Disliked Fully serviced pitch was very tight and couldn’t put awning out as car would have ended up covered! No Wifi..
The washrooms were disgusting. No evidence of any cleaning in 4 days. The door in was filthy, and the floors unbelievable. There were so many cobwebs and large spiders it was like Halloween. The showers were grim.. dark and filthy. We used the shower in our motorhome for the 4 days, which was the first time time in 12 months we have needed to. Tatty and dirty with mice in evidence. On the last day I suffered from a stomach complaint and I do wonder if using the toilets was to blame. Also on the last day several other vehicles arrived. 3 with dogs. All off lead constantly which meant we had to keep our 2 dogs in, as they get nervous being approached by off lead dogs, when they were leaded as per the rules. At £50 I expect useable facilities. We won’t be back

Lady was friendly checking us in.…
Powered grass site (small)
Liked Lady was friendly checking us in.
Disliked Arrived on our arrival date, and our pitch was between 2 other pitches that had already set up. Well in fact the whole area had been fully pitched up. The dimensions of our tent/booking did not fit with in the space that was remaining! Clearly other users had over pitched on their area. Dogs were free roaming and not kept on leads at all. We had a dog with us, and felt uncomfortable knowing we would abide by the rules whilst other dogs were just free roaming.
We understand it’s a family friendly camp, and there are designated areas for parks and children to play. However there were goal posts that had been erected right in front of our pitch which would have caused disturbance. These were campers goals not the site.
We did not stay at all on this site, and left the premises after 10 minutes from checking in.

Would go to again off peak.
Unpowered grass site (large)
Liked Stayed in a non electric motorhome pitch. Nice grassy site.
Disliked Busy in school holidays and people didn’t respect quiet hours particularly single sex female group next to us. Washing / toilet facilities ok but dated.
Recommend to friends Visit again
Would not visit again. Site rules are not adhered too. Left early.
Powered grass site (large)
Liked Proximity to Wiltshire Historic walks such as Avebury. The local area and walking. Location for canal walks.
Disliked The toilet facilities really need a lot of work to actually make you feel clean when you come out !
Pitches are all to close together. Not enough space for cars and appears everyone turns up with 2 plus cars! . My electric cable which is very long didn't reach the electric point. Bins not emptied enough for the amount of use.
The amount of large group bookings on site - We were surrounded by 3 different groups of 4 plus families and the noise level was too much. Disco level music all day and evening.
