What customers say
Friendly, clean, well-kept spot in lovely country. Spacious sites, great facilities (hot showers, clean loos). Staff are top. Peaceful vibes, handy for walks & pubs. Some say lots of permanent residents might not suit everyone.

Power optional grass caravan site
Liked The site is lovely and the staff who work there were very friendly and helpful
Campers were very friendly
The Orchard is a beautiful place to walk along and a short walk through the orchard takes you to a tiny village where there is a lovely pub called the Royal Oak
Food and drink was very nice.
The facilities offered small free samples of toiletries with was a very welcoming gesture
Disliked Facilities a little dated could do with being modernised to suit all campers
No WIFI

The site manager was friendly however, too many permanent pitches.
Power optional concrete slab caravan site
Liked Lovely warm welcome from the site manager, the initial appearance of the site is lovely, well presented entrance and site shop. The toilets are clean and have nice gestures of things you may have forgotten which is was pleasant. The showers are a little difficult to get right, they are either luke warm or scorching hot. My husband said the men’s weren’t so pleasant.
Disliked I did read before I came there were some season pitches , however I didn’t quite appreciate the number of these and I sure some were permanent home. Some of these were really scruffy and let the place down. I get why they have these season pitches, but they should be away from the touring pitches and kept separate. For these reason I wouldn’t return.

All round beautiful and lovely site.
Unpowered grass caravan site
Liked Very friendly staff, clean facilities and amazing guests. The orchard was a hit with our daughter. And We really did appreciate the lovely couple behind us with Barney the dog. It felt like a lovely little community here, which they welcomed us into. We will definitely be back to stay here.
Disliked Nothing! It was a beautiful little place!

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Lovely place to stay
Owner has a good sense of humour (if a little twisted - which I like)
Facilities were better than expected, well maintained
Was able to get a good spot no problems
Short walk to a nearby village pub which was quite good with decent food and beer
Nearby garage has an ASDA shop if you need anything
Good central location for local visits
Dog enjoyed strolling round the nearby orchards - plenty of wildlife country smell sniffing to be had
Nice to watch the plentiful bats hunting as the sun was setting
Disliked Not a problem for me personally, but there is distant road noise from the A303 which some might find irritating

Beautiful and relaxing campsite
Power optional grass caravan site
Liked Such a beautiful scenic area, the staff were so helpful. Being a single mum with 2 young children, the staff couldn't have helped enough. I arrived after an actioned packed morning plus had driven for a few hours. The staff were amazing, when I arrived. When I was leaving, again I was asked if I needed assistance. The facilities are perfect, including a launderette on site.

Great value, friendly site in a good location
Power optional grass caravan site
Liked Very friendly staff and relaxed feeling on the site. Good location within walking distance of a very good pub (you will probably need to book for food). We only stayed for one night, so didn't use the showers but the toilet block was fine and had spare razors, toothbrushes etc which was a nice touch. Plenty of dog walking straight from the site.
Disliked Not all the pitches are level, so if you're in a van make sure you have ramps. Electricity is chargeable, but the site is great value so this isn't necessarily a problem.

Great location and park
Unpowered grass caravan site
Liked The staff are super friendly and helped us out with an electric pitch last minute even though we didn’t have any booked. We love visiting PIPs for food next door and the Royal Oak pub. The orchards to walk the dogs are great and the prices for pitches are great value!
Disliked Nothing!
