What customers say
Lovely, tidy campsite with mature trees and a stream. Guests rave about the spacious sites, great facilities (loads of toilets/showers), and helpful staff. Handy for local sights. Some found WiFi lacking and pitches/signage occasionally dim, but most thought it was excellent and would come back.

Liked Such a beautiful place well maintained whilst letting nature be. All the basic amenities that you need that are clean tidy and modern. this place is perfect for those who want some time away
with their family friends or loved one's whilst surrounded by nature.
We loved the booking and access process all being self checking it keeps that feel of rocking up somewhere plotting up and sticking your feet up and not having to go through the hole checking in at reception having to tell him your life story and being told where to go, all the information was sent prior to our arrival. we had a fantastic time and are looking forward to going back.
Disliked There wasn’t any :-)

Not for us
Power optional concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Clean.
Disliked Too many trees made pitches very dark and gloomy. Pitches small. Not any clear signage. People parked vehicles on our side of pitch. Found shower arrangement odd. Could only find one tap which could not easily access to attach hose to fill up van tank without going across another pitch.. No staff on site. Could see that work was in progress so maybe things will improve but for us we would not return. The camping field looked more welcoming . To us all lacking the camaraderie we normally find .

Liked So clean and new !

Lovely pitches
The play area
Disliked Not so much a dislike but No designated off lead exercise area to walk dogs which isn’t usually a problem but I couldn’t see where you could take a dog off site for a walk without going in the car .
There may have been footpaths nearby but wasn’t aware of them.

Liked Pretty surroundings in amongst mature trees and a stream. We were not bothered by the road / train noise. Self check in process was very easy.
Disliked A relatively minor point, but due to late check in allowance until 10pm, a family arrived at 9.55pm and began to set up a large tent nearby at a time we were trying to get an early night.

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked It really is a beautiful site, there were a fair few camper vans but we were camping and there were only a couple tents. Lots of space, children loved exploring in the woods and on the play area. Dog friendly. Matt was lovely and came to check we were ok on the first night. Can intermittently hear the road or train but honestly not enough to cause a problem/notice. Facilities were clean and tidy. We visited Longleat on Saturday and we were 10mins away. Would definitely visit again 😊😊
