Liked This is a lovely campsite in a great location near the coast, and the lake is a wonderful feature to walk round, swim in and just chill next to. There was plenty of space for pitches in late June, and it was nice and quiet.
Disliked The showers were very powerful and sprayed at quite a steep angle throughout the cubicle, making it difficult to keep your stuff dry and to properly rinse your hair.

Liked We loved it! It was a very last minute stay, booked late in the evening. We were welcomed by a very friendly host, and incredibly surprised by great amenities and fabulous lake. We spent the next day by the lake, which was super relaxing and stress free compared to crowded and messy beach we originally planned. We definitely will be back! Highly recommend 👌

Unpowered grass site
Liked Love the site, we have been numerous times. The lake is perfect to keep the kids entertained and there are more improvements made each year we go. The new toilet and shower block is lovely and clean, and new improved access at the lake.
Disliked Solar heating for the shower block doesn't seem to cope with the demand on a busy weekend.

Liked Lovely new shower and toilet block. Lake for a swim is great. Sorry walk to a pub and not too far too walk to the beach. Dog friendly, too!
Disliked New shower and toilet block would benefit from some shelves and hooks etc. to prevent your clothes, towels and wash bags getting wet, too!
