What customers say
Sprawling, tidy site in a lovely, quiet spot. Praised for roomy pitches & super-clean, modern facilities. Friendly staff, shop & barn entertainment a hit. Very dog-friendly with its own run. Access lanes can be tight, and Wi-Fi can be patchy.

Liked Pleasant site, plenty of space. Good facilities, i.e. washing up area, freezer block fridge, shower units etc., shop for basics. Friday evening music session and community space.
Disliked Long way to walk to showers/toilets from our tent pitch. Showers last for 10 seconds only. Yes 10 seconds!. Of course you can start them again, and I have no objection to saving water but 10 secs. seems a bit short. On the other hand, shower units were spacious with place to put clothes etc. without getting everything wet.

Great camping for groups
Unpowered grass site
Liked Lovely location with plenty of pitch space, really enjoyed the live music in the evenings in the barn which had a bar. Showers were brilliant and liked that you had a separated private bench area and shower curtain.
Disliked The amount of ants and wasps but can’t do anything about that of course and is part of camping 🤣

Liked Very clean facilities, spacious pitches and field areas, shop stocked with essentials needed. Live music was a nice surprise too.
Disliked Maybe a bit pricey when you add in kids and pup tents etc but not much different to other sites. Also a bit of a hilly walk
Into the village. WiFi not great.

Liked Location. Large site well-managed. Large pitches. We stayed Saturday and Sunday nights. Saturday was busy and the ladies' washroom showed signs of heavy use. Sunday, things quietened down. The facilities were cleaned beautifully and stayed much cleaner. The hanging baskets are wonderful. We asked to move pitch and that was readily accommodated.

Great family campsite
Unpowered grass site
Liked The facilities were great: lots of loos, showers and sinks.
Laundry room and washing up places.
Peaceful and spacious, we didn't have too many people around us.
Disliked Common freezer was really small and didn't really work to ice up our ice blocks for the cold box.
