What customers say
A quiet, tidy site with obliging hosts. Campers liked the flat spots, hot showers & M5 access. Facilities are basic but upgrades are coming; it's decent value for a short stay, with pubs & shops close by.

Liked Good instructions to get onto the site.
Disliked Only one water tap that I could see.
I only found the light for the toilet block the next day - surprised there wasn’t a motion sensor type light.

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback — we’re glad you found the instructions clear, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. We actually have five outdoor taps around the site, but it sounds like they weren’t obvious during your stay, so we’ll review the signage to make sure they’re easier to spot.
Regarding the toilet block light, it’s a standard switch-operated light rather than a motion sensor. No one has ever had difficulty finding it before, but your comment is helpful — we’ll look at whether clearer indication or a sensor upgrade would improve things for future guests. We’re genuinely disappointed to fall below our usual 9/10, as we work hard to keep the site running smoothly and welcoming. Your feedback helps us keep improving, so thank you again for sharing it.

Liked Very quiet
Disliked It would have been nice for owners to pop and say hello if they do live next door.
There was very little toilet roll and shower held together by insulation tape so didn’t want to risk using it so basically paid £25 to park my vehicle overnight.

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you felt this way during your stay.We did have plenty of toilet roll available, and when we came around to check the facilities you weren’t in your tent at the time, so we weren’t able to speak with you directly. We also want to clarify that the gaffer tape on the shower was not placed there by any member of our staff. As we are right at the end of the season, the shower is already scheduled for winter repairs along with other routine maintenance.
It’s a shame you didn’t try our showers, as they are one of the features guests regularly praise. We were unusually quiet during your visit, but there were still several guests staying in the cabins, so you weren’t alone on site.We genuinely care about the comfort and safety of everyone who stays with us, and we’re sorry your experience didn’t reflect the standards we work hard to maintain.

We always stay here on our…
Unpowered grass site
Liked We always stay here on our way down to Cornwall as its proximity to the M5 makes it the perfect stopover. There are some good pubs not far away for an evening meal and a lovely farm shop and cafe just down the road for breakfast. The owner is very passionate about his site and genuinely cares about people enjoying their stay. If you do encounter a problem, a quick text is all it takes. The toilet paper ran out in the ladies, I texted Tor and within minutes there was plenty. Will definitely stay again and again!

Liked Everything. Beautiful flat field with toilet and shower. Owners very friendly and helpful. Great location with a farm shop and cafe in walking distance. 10 mins max. Liveky forest around 2 sides so lots of wildlife to see on the evenings. Rabbits were entertaining. Uve re booked again as loved it there. We camped but it has 3 statics to hire on site.
